Did you know February is Children's Dental Health Month?

Every February the American Dental Association sponsors National Children's Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of dental health at an early age.  Check out their website to find out more!  Here at the Comfort Dental Group we encourage parents bring their children to the dentist for their first check up around the age of 3.  If the "new patient" has an older sibling, it can be a good idea for them to accompany their older sibling to their appointment to meet the staff and observe what a cleaning entails. Patient's first visit is simply a cleaning with our hygienist and exam with Dr. Cochran.  Kids leave our office with a "goodie bag" which includes a new toothbrush, toothpaste, a timer and flossers.  Children are also able to pick out a some stickers and a toy from our toy box!  Please feel free to contact our office to ask any questions and/or schedule your "little one's" first appointment!
